At Kuki we are associated with HeliSky Europe to do our fixed wing training and we utilise the Cessna 152 G-BTVX (2 Seater), to train our students for the Private Pilot Licence. Here at Kuki we will help you choose the right training platform for you.

At Kuki we do our training from Gamston Airport which is on the edge of the Sherwood Forest,  a royal forest in Nottinghamshire, England, famed by its historic association with the legend of Robin Hood and is the home to the Major Oak….Robin’s major hideout place !

PPL Course Training Includes:

• 45 hours (minimum) training in a Cessna 152.
• This includes a minimum 10 hours solo flying.
• Basics of flying
• Circuit flying and emergencies
• Advanced flying
• Navigation
• 9 Theory exams consisting of:
  • Aviation Law, Operational Procedures, Human Factors
  • Meteorology, Navigation, Flight Performance and Planning
  • Aircraft General Knowledge, Principles of Flight and Communications
• Course can be undertaken in 4-6 weeks intensively or part time as required.
• 3 hours sessions max per day if weather permits.

There are also many other beautiful sites to visit including: Lincoln Cathedral, Humber Bridge, Bolsover Castle, Haddon Hall, Rufford Abbey, Chatsworth House, Hardwick Hall, Newstead Abbey or even an aerial view of your own home!

You will encounter the highest standard of training delivered in a relaxed atmosphere of friendly manner by our flight instructor who will adjust their training styles to your own needs in a professional and effective manner to assist you to complete your Pilot training.

Kuki in-house ground school instructor will assist you with all the theory and passing all the ground examinations.
